7 | Check pairs of faces in contact of clutch pressure plate (2) and clutch drive plate (1) | Replace in the event of scorch marks, scores or cracks on the pairs of faces in contact of the clutch pressure plate (2) and clutch drive plate (1). | |
8.1 | Clean the profile grooves on the clutch driving disk (1) and check ease of movement of the clutch driving disk (1) on the hub profile of the input shaft | Only applies for a clutch drive plate (1) with nickel-plated hub surface. It must be possible to slide the clutch drive plate (1) easily over the hub profile of the input shaft, but it must not exhibit any excessive play. | |
The clutch drive plate (1) with nickel-plated hub surface must not be greased to avoid any seizing up of the clutch drive plate (1) on the input shaft's hub. | |||

10 | Install clutch pressure plate (2). | Tighten bolts (3) crosswise in small increments. When bolting on make sure that the centering drift (5) can still be moved to ensure that the clutch drive plate (1) is in the correct installation position. | |
