2 | Remove rear engine power take-off | ||
3 | Remove slotted nut (7) using a claw-type wrench (8) | Installation: Tighten slotted nut (7) only after installing the engine power take-off. | |

4 | Take out thrust piece (6) and pressure plate (5) | Installation: Fasten pressure plate (5) to bearing housing (4) with Loctite. Note the adhesion area (arrow). | |
5 | Pull shaft with drive gear (1) out of bearing housing (4) and remove pressure plate (3) | Installation: Fasten pressure plate (3) to bearing housing (4) with Loctite. Note the adhesion area (arrow). | |
6 | Remove sealing ring (2) | ||
7 | Visually inspect both bearings (4.1) in the bearing housing (4) for wear | Replace bearing housing (4) if necessary. | |
8 | Assemble in the reverse order |
