Remove shielding (10)

When removing the right switchable engine mount (Y123/1).

Release and disconnect the electrical connector (7) of the left and right switchable engine mounts (Y123, Y123/1)

Lift engine until the left and right switchable engine mounts (Y123, Y123/1) are relieved


Raise engine carefully.
Damage may otherwise occur to lines and hoses.

Remove screw/bolts  (2)

Remove left and right switchable engine mounts (Y123, Y123/1); for this purpose, push the engine to one side if necessary

 Observe environmental protection regulations for the disposal of the left and right switchable engine mounts (Y123, Y123/1).
Dispose of left and right switchable engine mounts (Y123, Y123/1) in the mixed scrap.

 Always install new left and right switchable engine mounts  (Y123, Y123/1) in pairs.

 Aid of helper required.

 Metric screws/bolts and nuts as per MBN 10 105, 10 143
