Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Open engine hood

Unclip the front engine cover

Remove engine intake air ducts upstream of air filter

Pull off the air filter housing from the cylinder head covers from top

 Installation: Moisten rubber retainers on cylinder head covers with a little lubricant.

Mount engine hoist

Support engine with engine hoist and raise it until there is no load on rear engine mounts (8, 80)

Raise vehicle

Remove lower engine compartment paneling

Remove top bolts (1, 10) from engine mounts (8, 80)



Remove bottom bolts (4, 40) from engine mounts (8, 80)



Raise engine further with engine hoist until engine mounts (8, 80) can be removed in a downward direction

Take out engine mount (8, 80)

 Installation: The anti-twist locks (7) of engine mounts (8, 80) must fit in the recess clearances of engine supports (2, 20).

Install in the reverse order
