Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Remove/install

Remove engine cover.

Remove hose (5) from coolant filler neck (6).

 Removal: Detach hose (5). Collect escaping coolant.

 Seal the connection to coolant filler neck (6).

 Installation: Check clamp and hose (5) for damage.

If damage is present:



Replace the clamp or hose (5).

Remove the coolant filler neck (6) from the cooler, and position it outside of the working area.

 For this purpose, remove bolts (4).

Remove the fan (1).

Note on calculation of tightening torque when using insertion or socket tools with various effective lengths

Note the left-hand thread of nut (3) when screwing on and unscrewing.
Otherwise damage may occur if the direction of rotation is incorrect.

 To do this, counterhold belt pulley (2), and unscrew nut (3) together with fan (1).

Remove the fan (1) upwards.


Do not store fan (1) recumbent.
Otherwise, the viscous fan clutch may be damaged.

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Check coolant level.



Check main circuit coolant level

Correct coolant level.
