2 | Remove engine trim panel | ||
3 | Remove the rubber seal (1) in the upper frame crossmember (2) region | ||
4 | Remove bolts (3) | Screw for center reinforcement to outer reinforcement | |
Screw for center reinforcement to catch hook reinforcement | |||
5 | Unclip the radiator bracket at the radiator crossmember (2) | Installation: Check bracket clips, replace if necessary. | |
6 | Unclip the hood release cable at the radiator crossmember (2) | Installation: Check bracket clips, replace if necessary. | |
7 | Remove the radiator crossmember (2) | ||
8 | Pull off flat springs (4) on the upper side of the fan shroud (5) | ||
9 | Loosen the coolant hose (6) from the brackets (7) at the fan shroud (5) | ||
10 | Remove the plug (8) from the fan shroud (5) | ||
11 | Take out the fan shroud (5) in the upward direction. | Installation: Insert the retaining lugs of the fan shroud (5) into the mounts at the radiator (9). | |
12 | Install in the reverse order | ||
13 | Read out fault memory | ||
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | ||
