Electric coolant pump

 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install

1

Remove the coolant thermostat.

Remove right charge air line.

Remove coolant hose (2) from electric coolant pump (M75/11).

Remove bracket (3) from electric coolant pump (M75/11).

Release and disconnect the electrical connections (4).

If upper electrical connector (4) cannot be fully released due to limited available space



Release screws (1) and slightly swivel electrical coolant pump (M75/11) to the side.

 Bolt, coolant pump to crankcase/oil pan

Unclip electric lines from electric coolant pump (M75/11).

Remove screws (1) and remove electric coolant pump (M75/11).

Install in the reverse order.
