1 | Remove coolant temperature sensor of common rail diesel injection system (CDI) | ||
2 | Detach coolant hoses (3, 5, 7) at coolant thermostat (1) | Inspect condition of coolant hoses (3, 5, 7), collar clamps (4, 6) and screw clamp (8), replace if necessary. | |
3 | Unscrew screws (2) | Installation: Pay attention to different lengths of bolts (2). | |

4 | Take off coolant thermostat (1) at cylinder head | Installation: Replace molded rubber gasket (9), clean sealing surfaces. The coolant thermostat is an integral part of the housing. | |
5 | Install in the reverse order |
Coolant pump, coolant thermostat
