Installation: Replace sealing ring on charge air pipe (1). | |||

5 | Unscrew oil filter cap (2) from oil filter housing | When oil filter cover (2) is unscrewed, the engine oil flows back into the oil pan. | |
Installation: Replace sealing ring on oil filter cover (2). | |||

6 | Disconnect electrical connector (4) on engine oil temperature sensor (B11) and oil pressure sensor (B12) | ||
7 | Remove engine oil temperature sensor (B11) on oil-water heat exchanger | Collect engine oil that flows out. | |
Installation: Replace sealing ring. | |||

8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
9 | Check engine oil level using oil dipstick or on display, correct if necessary | Observe engine oil grade set in maintenance system or Specifications for Operating Fluids. | |

10 | Start engine | Do not rev up engine before oil pressure is indicated. The oil pressure gauge must indicate oil pressure after about 10 seconds. | |
11 | Switch off engine and check for leaks | Visual inspection. |
