The instructions below are valid for filling with pneumatic bleed pump. | |||
2 | Remove the intake hose (2) | ||
3 | Fill the lubricating oil tank (8) through the nozzle (1) | Amount 5 liters. | |
Use lubricating oils MBB 228 class, described in the Service Information about Lubricants Gr.: 00. | |||
4 | Connect the nozzle (4) through a hose to the compressed air net. | ||
5 | Open the valve (3) and pressurize the tank (10), until the gauge (7) reads 5 bar. Next, shut the valve (3). | ||
6 | Slowly turn the regulator (5), clockwise, until the gage (6) reads 3 bar. | ||
7 | Remove the threaded plug (4) on the oil/water heat exchanger (8) | Installation: Replace the sealing ring (3). | |

8 | Thread the adapter (7) with the O-ring | Use an adapter with thread outlet M14x1,5. | |
9 | Screw the hose (9) with a gun and connection onto the adapter (7) | Oil replenishing canister | |
10 | Press the gun and, at the same time, observe the oil flow through the rockers. | Bleeding will be completed when oil free of air bubbles flows after an approximate consumption of 4 liters of oil. | |
The operating pressure indicated on the gage (6) must not be below 1.5 bar. | |||
Should there be air bubbles detected in the transparent hose, abort the process, refill the reservoir (8) and carry on the bleeding. | |||
11 | Install in the reverse order of the steps | ||
12 | Check the engine oil level | | |
If the level is below the minimum limit: | |||

Fill crankcase until oil reaches maximum oil level on dipstick. Do not exceed the maximum dipstick level reference. |
