Remove/install

Remove left-hand air filter housing

For removing the left position sensor (3) of the exhaust camshaft and intake camshaft.

Remove right air filter housing

For removing the right position sensor (3) of the exhaust camshaft and intake camshaft.

Separate electrical connections (2)

Remove screw/bolts (1) and take out position sensor (3)

 Installation: Replace sealing ring.

 Bolt, camshaft position sensor to cylinder head cover

Install in the reverse order

Read out fault memory using the diagnostic system and clear if necessary


