Warning

Risk of burn injuries and scalding when working at AdBlue lines and the components attached to them. Risk of injury to skin and eyes when handling AdBlue. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing AdBlue

Pour AdBlue into suitable containers only. Wait until the pressure is released before starting any work on the exhaust aftertreatment system.

Turn off ignition

Detach the electric connector (2) in the pump module (7)


The electrical connector (2) and the wiring harness must not contact the AdBlue,.
otherwise, it can occur damages in the electrical harness and in the SCR module.

Protect the electrical connector (2) and the electrical connection in the pump module (7) with a plastic film or similar to avoid AdBlue outflow.

Check the electrical harness for corrosion

Remove the AdBlue piping (3) in the AdBlue inlet fitting (11) and cover it with the seal (10)

AdBlue suction line sealant.

The sealant (10) must be ready to prevent the AdBlue outflow in excess.

Remove the housing cover (1)

Only for vehicles with pump module (7) in which the hexagon of the filter screen housing in the inlet connection (12) is located behind the housing cover (1).

Remove AdBlue inlet fitting (11) from filter sieve in inlet nozzle (12)

To remove the AdBlue inlet connection (11), hold it with an open-end wrench (6) by the filter screen in the inlet connection (12).

Remove the suction filter (9) from the inlet fitting filter sieve (12)

The suction filter (9) can be extracted using a self-locking screw (M4x40) (8).
