Do not disconnect lines from A/C compressor. Attach A/C compressor at side in bottom of engine compartment with lines connected.

Remove belt pulley with the vibration damper.

Remove screw (1) from bracket (3).

Remove screw (2) from bracket (3) and remove bracket (3).

Remove screws (5, 6) and remove major assembly carrier (4) with clamping device for the poly-V-belt (7).

Remove clamping device for the poly-V-belt (7) from the major assembly carrier (4).

Only when replacing the major assembly carrier (4).

Remove guide pulleys (8, 9) from the major assembly carrier (4).

Only when replacing the major assembly carrier (4).

Installation: Check guide pulleys (8, 9) for wear; replace if necessary.
