Remove/install

Remove upper engine cover (1).

Remove engine air intake duct(2).

Remove front noise insulation on the engine.

with code M014 (Engine uprated)

Remove impact plate (3).

Relieve clamping device (4) and fix with a 4 mm thick pin.

Remove the poly-V-belt (5).

Do not use belt wax or similar products.
The poly-V belt (5) will slip otherwise.



Check

Check poly-V-belt (5) for damage and wear.



If there is a problem,



Replace the poly-V-belt(5).

Check guide pulley (6) for wear and damage.

If there is a problem,



Replace guide pulley(6).

Check tensioning device (4) for damage and wear.

If there is a problem,

Replace clamping device(4).

Check belt pulley of alternator (G2) for damage and wear.

Replace alternator (G2).

Check belt pulley of refrigerant compressor with magnetic clutch (A9/7) for damage and wear.

Check coolant pump belt pulley for wear and damage.

If there is a problem,



Replace coolant pump.

Install in the reverse order.

Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area.
