 Warning

Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure it with the safety strut.

Remove air intake pipe (exhaust gas turbocharger to air filter)

 Seal bore on exhaust gas turbocharger.

Swivel tensioner pulley (1) with breaker bar and socket wrench socket downward, swivel tensioner pulley (2) upward and hold

 Only swivel tensioner pulleys (1, 2) downward or upward over the screw (against spring tension).

Remove poly-V-belt (3, 4)

 Do not bend poly-V-belt (3, 4) during removal.

Swivel tensioner pulleys (1, 2) back



Check

Check poly-V-belts (3, 4) for wear and damage



Check belt pulley/vibration damper, refrigerant compressor belt pulley, alternator, hydraulic pump, and coolant pump, as well as guide pulley of fuel pump and clamping device with tensioner pulley (1, 2).



Replace damaged and/or worn parts:

Remove/install belt pulley/vibration damper

Remove/install poly-V belt tensioning device

Install

Place poly-V-belts (3, 4) onto belt pulleys and vibration damper

 Do not place poly-V-belts (3, 4) on tensioner pulley (1, 2) at this stage.

Swivel tensioner pulley (1) downward, tensioner pulley (2) upward, and place poly-V-belts (3, 4) on tensioner pulleys (1, 2)

 Only swivel tensioner pulleys (1, 2) downward or upward over the screw (against spring tension). Make sure that the poly-V-belts (3, 4) are seated correctly on the belt pulleys.
