Remove/install

Disconnect electrical connectors (2, 4).

Remove electrical wiring harness (10) from charge air pipe (1) and place to one side.

Remove charge air hose (6) from flanged pipe socket (5).

 Clamp, charge air hose to charge air pipe and charge air cooler

Remove hose (8) from exhaust gas recirculation line (7).

 Clamp, exhaust gas recirculation hose to exhaust gas recirculation cooler or exhaust gas recirculation line

Remove charge air pipe (1) from bracket (3).

 Bolt, charge air pipe to bracket

Remove charge air pipe (1) from charge-air distributor (9).

 Installation: Replace sealing ring.

 Bolt, charge air pipe to charge air housing

Remove exhaust gas recirculation line (7) from charge air pipe (1).

Only if new charge air pipe (1) is installed.

 Installation: Replace sealing ring.

 Screw/bolt, exhaust gas recirculation line to charge air pipe

Remove flanged pipe socket (5) from charge air pipe (1).

Only if new charge air pipe (1) is installed.

 Installation: Replace seal.

 Bolt, charge air trunking to charge air pipe

Remove engine start and engine stop button from charge air pipe (1).

Only if new charge air pipe (1) is installed.

Remove charge air pressure and temperature sensor from charge air pipe (1).

Only if new charge air pipe (1) is installed.

 Installation: Replace O-ring.

 Bolt, charge air pressure and temperature sensor in charge air pipe
