Tester

1	Check control unit (1) for external damage.

 In case of damage to the control canister (1) the turbocharger (3) must be replaced.

2	Disconnect hose (4) from control canister (1).

3	 Attach testing unit (5) (without a coolant connection) to the control canister (1) and apply a max. of 1 bar air pressure.

 In the case of a damaged diaphragm the compressed air generated escapes between the valve rod (2) and the housing (arrow) of the control canister (1). In case of a complaint the turbocharger (3) must be replaced.

4	 Remove testing unit (5) and attach hose (4) to control unit (1).
