Disconnect battery ground line

Remove cover (1)

Installation: Check rubber seal in cover (1) and replace if necessary. The cover (1) must seat in the rear of the groove.

Disconnect electrical connection (2, 3) or electrical connections (4)

Remove CDI control unit (N3/9, N3/26) or ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) upwards

Start up respective injection system control unit using STAR DIAGNOSIS

Only when replacing the CDI control unit (N3/9, N3/26) or ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory

Perform initial startup according to procedure for Star Diagnosis.
