Remove/install

Connect vehicle diagnosis system and begin commissioning of the CDI control unit (N3/9) or ME-SFI control unit (N3/10).

When installing new CDI control unit (N3/9) or ME-SFI control unit (N3/10).

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory

Installation: Transfer stored data into the new CDI control unit (N3/9) or the new ME-SFI control unit (N3/10).

Remove battery box.

Remove CDI control unit (N3/9) or ME-SFI control unit (N3/10) with the bracket.

Disconnect electrical connectors (1).

Remove CDI control unit (N3/9) or ME-SFI control unit (N3/10) with the bracket.

To do this, remove electrical wiring harness from the bracket.

Installation: Check retaining clips of the electrical wiring harness for damage.

Depending on the findings,

replace damaged retaining clips of the electrical wiring harness.

Change bracket.

When installing new CDI control unit (N3/9) or ME-SFI control unit (N3/10).

Install in the reverse order.
