Connect up STAR DIAGNOSIS and read in data from ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) into STAR DIAGNOSIS. | |||
Installation: Transfer stored data to the new ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10). | |||
2 | Turn key in ignition lock (electronic ignition switch control unit) to position "0" | When ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) is reused. | |
3 | Open engine hood and raise to vertical position | ||
4 | Remove air filter housing | ||
5 | Move shift interlocks of electrical connectors at ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) in direction of arrow, and disconnect electrical connectors from ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) | ||
6 | Pull ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) upwards out of control unit brackets (1a, 1b) | ||
7 | Detach ball-type support braces (2) from ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) | If replacing the ME-SFI control unit (N3/10). | |

8 | Remove control unit brackets (1a, 1b) from resonance intake manifold as needed | | |
9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
10 | Perform sensor rotor adaptation using STAR DIAGNOSIS | If replacing the ME-SFI control unit (N3/10). | |
