Remove/install

Remove upper engine cover.

 Installation: Only install upper engine cover after the leak test.

Unclip electric line of lambda sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/2) from bracket (arrow B).

Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect.

Remove lambda sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/2) and seal threaded hole in catalytic converter with suitable stop plug.

 Installation: Coat thread of lambda sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/2) with heat-resistant lubricating paste.
