Caution

Risk of injury caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts

Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

Remove/install

Detach the cold air guide (2) on the cold air intake manifold

Detach ball head  (3) from elastomer bearing at engine

Installation: Coat elastomer bearing at engine with antiseize paste.

Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l

Detach the elastomer bearings (4) and remove the engine cover (1) with the cold air guide (2) by moving it upwards

Installation: Coat elastomer bearing with lubricating paste.

Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l

Check the elastomer bearings (4) for damage

If damage occurs to the elastomer bearing  (4)

Replace elastomer bearing (4).

Install in the reverse order
