Remove toothed belt

Enlarge hole for retaining screw (1) in retaining lock (2) to Ø 8.5 mm

If retaining lock (2) is still in original condition.

Attach retaining lock (2) to the cylinder head and camshaft sprocket (3)

Remove camshaft sprocket (3)

Remove radial shaft sealing ring (5)


Do not damage camshaft (6) and sealing surfaces on camshaft bearing cap and cylinder head.
Leaks and damage nay occur otherwise.

 Installation: Install a new radial shaft sealing ring (5). Wet inner side of the radial shaft sealing ring (5) using a suitable lubricant.
