Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

Remove

1

Remove right front wheel.

Remove right front fender liner.

Remove right air intake hose.

Release bracket (2), pull to one side and fix in place.

Pull lines (3) to one side and fix in place.



Clean

Clean area of chain tensioner (1).

Remove chain tensioner (1).



Install

Replace sealing ring of chain tensioner (1).

Insert chain tensioner (1) into bore at cylinder head, press in against spring load of compensating element and tighten.

Release securing of lines (3) and align lines (3).

Release securing of bracket (2) and install bracket (2).



Check

Check engine oil level.


The engine oil level must not lie above the maximum marking.
Otherwise engine damage may occur.

If there is a problem,



Correct engine oil level.

Perform engine test run; in this connection, check engine in the area of chain tensioner (1) for leaks.

If there is a problem,



Localize and eliminate cause.



Install

Install right air intake hose.
