Caution

Risk of injury to skin and eyes due to handling of engine oil. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing engine oil

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

Remove/install

Remove the camshaft positioner of the intake camshaft.

Unscrew the bearing pin (5).

Pull the upper chain slide rail (6) of the bearing pin (7) upwards and remove it.

Check

Check the upper chain slide rail (6) for wear and damage.

If the upper chain slide rail (6) has problems,

replace the upper chain slide rail (6).

Install in the reverse order.
