2 | Pry off clamps (2) | ||
3 | Detach compensating elements (1) for roller-type cam follower (3) | ||
4 | Remove roller drag lever (3) | ||
5 | Remove compensating elements (1) | Do not use magnets. This would magnetize the contact surfaces of the compensation element (1) and the roller drag lever (3). Tiny iron filings could gather in this way which could lead to damage on the compensating element (1), the roller-type cam follower (3) and the camshaft. | |
Installation: Compensating element (1) which were not replaced must be installed again at the same installation location. | |||
