Install guide bearing in flywheel

Push back sleeve (2) on  drift (1).

Slightly grease O-ring on  punch (1).

Push guide bearing (3) onto  drift (1) up to the end stop.

 The groove (arrow) should point away from the   punch (1).

Move sleeve (2) on  punch (1) until opening (arrow) in sleeve (2) is centered above the groove in the guide bearing (3).

Insert new retaining ring (4) through opening (arrow) into groove in guide bearing (3).

Continue to push retaining ring (4) through opening (arrow) into groove in guide bearing (3) with a screwdriver (5) until the two joints in the retaining ring (4) are no longer visible.

Position sleeve (2) of the  drift (1) flush with the guide bearing (3) on the flywheel (6) and drive in guide bearing (3) up to end stop into the flywheel (6).

 The sleeve (2) pushes back when driving in the guide bearing (3) on the  drift (1). The installation depth is specified by the installed spacer ring (7).

 Remove punch (1) and check, whether retaining ring (4) was destroyed while pounding in.

 If retaining ring (4) was damaged the broken parts are located in the sleeve (2) in the  punch (1).
If necessary, remove guide bearing (3) and repeat operation steps 1 to 8 with a new retaining ring (4).
