Remove radiator unit

Slacken poly V-belt (2) and take it off vibration damper (1)

 Installation: Inspect condition of poly-V belt (2), replace if necessary.

Remove poly-V belt from front engine power take-off

Only for front engine power take-off, code N60 or
front engine power take-off with tandem pump, code N65

 Installation: Inspect condition of poly-V belt, replace if necessary.

Remove cap on timing case and attach turning device (4)

 Block turning device (4) with a pin (3).



Remove vibration damper (1) from crankshaft



Checking

Measure shank length (L) of bolts (5)

 If permissible shank length (L) is exceeded, replace bolt (5) concerned
