Remove/install

Remove the clutch

Remove the turn sensor (B15)

 Installation: Press the turn sensor (B15) up to the stopper.

Install the blocking and turning device (3) on the steering wheel housing

 Lock the device by inserting the locking pin.

Remove the bolts (2) fastening the steering wheel (1)

 Installation: Check the length (L) of the steering wheel fastening bolts. Slightly grease steering wheel screws with oil.

Screw the centering mandrels (4) on two opposite threaded holes

Remove the engine turning device (3) from steering wheel housing to turn and lock the engine

Remove the engine steering wheel

 Installation: Grease the toothed rack.

Check

Check the engine steering wheel (1) for condition

 When grinding the steering wheel, observe the minimum allowable distance between the friction surface and the contact surface with the crankshaft.

Should the friction surface present cracks, fissures or damages



Repair the steering wheel.

Check the engine steering wheel ring gear for condition

Replace the ring gear.
