Remove

Remove flywheel or driven plate

Use a screwdriver to press out radial shaft sealing ring (1).


Use a suitable, soft base (e.g. rag) between the screwdriver and the crankshaft (2).
Damage may occur otherwise.



Install

Install radial shaft sealing ring (1) using an insertion device

Install flywheel or driven plate

Check oil level, adjust to correct level if necessary.



The oil level must not lie above the maximum marking.
Engine damage can occur otherwise.



Check

 Danger !

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
