Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Remove timing chain of balance shaft housing (2)

Remove screws (1) in reverse numerical order to tightening procedure

AR03.20-S-1105-01PB

 Installation: Observe tightening procedure.

 Screw/bolt, balance shaft housing to crankcase

*BA03.20-N-1001-04PB

Remove balance shaft housing (2) from crankcase lower section (3)

Remove sealing ring(4)

 Installation: Replace compression ring (4).


