Remove/install

Perform power disconnect of high-voltage on-board electrical system.

Remove oil pan bottom section.

Install engine support fixture and slightly lift engine.

Remove screws of engine mounts at front axle carrier.

Lift engine with engine support fixture.


Raise engine carefully.
Otherwise, components may be damaged.

Remove soundproofing from oil pan (1).

Unclip electric line (3) from oil pan (1).

Remove screws (2) in reverse order to tightening procedure.

Remove oil pan (1).

 Installation: Replace molded seal and O-ring.

Clean sealing surfaces at oil pan (1) and crankcase lower section.

Assembly cleaner

Install in the reverse order.
