 Warning

Remove engine lower panelling

Drain the lubricant oil pan



 Catch the oil in an appropriate container.

 Installation: Replace the sealing ring (4), observe the correct tightening for the oil pan drain plug (5) and refill the oil pan.

Remove the engine filler line (7)

Release the oil level (B14) sensor connector (6)

Remove the screws (3), then remove the oil sump (1)


Dispose of the screws (3) after disassembly.
Otherwise the chemical lock will no longer be efficient.

 Use the microencapsulated screws (3) for mounting M8x35 - N000000002815

 Clean the oil pan and its sealing gasket settlement surface on the engine block.

 Installation: Replace oil gasket (2) and observe its correct positioning.

Install in reverse order

 Warning

Starting the engine

 Do not crank the engine continuously for more than 30 seconds.
If the engine does not fire within this interval, wait approximately 1 minute to crank it again.

Check the engine oil pressure with the engine idling

 Do not accelerate the engine until oil pressure is shown on the indicator.
The oil pressure will have to be reestablished in approximately 10 seconds.

Stop the engine and check for eventual leaks



 Control the engine oil level , 5 minutes after engine shutdown.
