	Removing
1	Remove cylinder head	 Clean surface of crankcase and of cylinder liner.

	Measure
2	Mount measuring plate (1.1) onto cylinder liner (A), fit on spacer sleeves (1.2) and attach with short cylinder head bolts (2)	 - Collar for measuring plate must point toward cylinder liner. - Pay attention to tightening torque: 

3	Place dial gage holder (4) together with inserted and tightened dial gage (3) and extension, onto measuring plate (1.1)	 The dial gage must be mounted with a preload onto the surface of the crankcase and then set to '0'.

4	Push dial gage (3) into the recess of the measuring plate (1.1) until the latter is touching the outer collar surface of the cylinder liner (A)	 Read off dial gage and repeat the measurement at the three remaining measuring points. The dial gage must be set to '0' on the surface of the crankcase each time before each measurement.
		Projection of cylinder liner with pretensioned cylinder liner. 
