Remove the chain stretcher

Remove the bolts (2) from front cover (1)



Lift the locking latch (7) on the top sliding rail (6), of the grooved guide pin (4)

 After unlocked, the top sliding rail (6) remains on distribution chain box.

Lift-off the front cover of the cylinder head (1)

 Pay attention to the guide pins (3, 4, 5).

Installing:After thoroughly cleaning the sealing surfaces of the front cover (1), apply sealing compound.

Mount in reverse order.

Check for oil tightness

 Start the engine, allow it to heat up, stop it and check it for tightness.
