Remove/install

Danger!

Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within tilting range of cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt cab all the way to end position and secure with safety strut.

Installation: Only tilt cab back after leak test has been conducted.

Remove soundproofing on frame at upper left

Remove engine panel (5)

Installation: Only engine panel (5) after checking for leaks.

Detach crankcase ventilation hose (3) at crankcase breather line (4)

Check crankcase ventilation hose (3) for damage; replace if necessary.

Remove cylinder head cover (1)

Installation: Clean sealing surfaces of cylinder head cover (1) and cylinder head. Replace seal washer on bolts (2) and seal (6).

Install in the reverse order

Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Conduct engine test run, stop engine and check in area of cylinder head cover (1) for leaks
