Risk of injury to skin and eyes due to handling of engine oil. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing engine oil

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

Remove/install

Remove upper engine cover.

 Installation: Only install upper engine cover after the leak test.

Remove front noise insulation.

Remove engine wiring harness (3) and line clips (A) of the electric line (4) from the oil separator (1) and place to one side.

Release full load bleed line (2) from oil separator (1).

Remove screws (5).

 Screw/bolt, oil separator to cylinder head cover

Remove oil separator (1).

 Installation: Replace seals.

Remove adhesive label (6).

When installing a new oil separator (1).



Clean

Clean sealing surfaces.

 Use lint-free rags.

Install in the reverse order.

Check engine oil level and correct.



Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper leaktightness and leaktightness.

Install upper engine cover.
