Detach/attach lines and hoses for removal of engine

Danger

Risk of explosion caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contactwith fuel.

No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Remove coolant hose (1).

To do so, open clamp on coolant hose (1) using hose clamp pliers and remove coolant hose (1).

Collect escaping coolant; seal connections with a set of stop plugs.

Installation: Check clamp.

Depending on findings

Replace clamp if necessary.

Remove coolant hose (2).

To do so, open clamp on coolant hose (2) using hose clamp pliers and remove coolant hose (2).

Collect escaping coolant; seal connections with a set of stop plugs.

Installation: Check clamp.

Depending on findings

Replace clamp if necessary.

Remove fuel hose (3) from fuel line.

To do so, release fuel hose (3) on connector coupling (4).
Collect escaping fuel; seal connections with a set of stop plugs.

Place fuel hose (3) outside of working area.

To do so, remove fuel hose (3) from bracket (5) and retaining clip (6).

Remove fuel hose (7).

To do so, open clamp (8) on fuel hose (7) using hose clamp pliers and remove fuel hose (7).
Collect escaping fuel; seal connections with a set of stop plugs.

Installation: Check clamp (8).

Depending on findings

Replace clamp (8).

Place fuel hose (7) outside of working area.

To do so, remove fuel hose (7) from bracket (9).

Remove vacuum hose (10) from intake manifold and place outside working area.

To do so, open clamp on vacuum hose (10) using hose clamp pliers and remove vacuum hose (10).
Seal connections with set of stop plugs .

Installation: Check clamp.

Depending on findings

Replace clamp if necessary.

Install in the reverse order.
