1	Remove the wheels

2	Remove wheel hub (4)

3	Remove the protective plate (1), the radial seal (2), and the tapered roller bearings (3, 5)
	Clean
4	Remove the used grease from the wheel hub (4) and tapered roller bearings (3, 5)	 Do not use solvents to remove grease and to clean the tapered roller bearings (3, 5) and the wheel hub (4). For cleaning, use a clean and lint-free cloth.
	Check
5	Check the tapered roller bearings (3, 5) for wear or damages	 Inspect the tapered roller bearings (3, 5) for wear, chippings or crackings. Bathe the tapered roller bearings (3, 5) in oil and wrap them with a clean, lint-free cloth or in a paper, to protect them up to the moment of assembly.
		In case of any of the tapered roller bearings (3, 5) is defective or worn:
		
		Replace this with a new one.
		 It is recommended to replace both tapered roller bearings (3, 5) along with their respective outer race ring on the wheel hub (4), on both axle side.
	Install
6	Install the tapered roller bearings (3, 5)	 Grease the tapered roller bearings (3, 5). Apply the specified amount of grease.

		 Rear axle 749.911/920/923Grease	*BF35.50-B-1001-01A
7	Install the radial seal (2)	 Use a new radial seal (2).
		 Grease the lips of the radial seal (2).
8	Install the protective plate (1)
9	Assemble wheel hub (4)

10	Install the wheels
