Remove

Open left hatch in footwell

Detach lower engine compartment paneling

Only carry out the steps for removing the paneling under the transmission.

Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.

Pour brake fluid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Screw down expansion reservoir cap (1) and draw off the old brake fluid

Connecting

Connect bleeder unit to clutch expansion reservoir

Adjust working pressure of the bleeding unit in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's specifications.

Pull down protective cap (2) and connect bleeder unit to the bleed screw (3)

Switch on bleeder unit and bleed the clutch operator

Open the bleed screw (3) and leave open until the brake fluid escapes without any bubbles. Then close the bleed screw (3).

Remove

Detach bleeder unit from the bleed screw (3)

Detach bleeder unit from the clutch expansion reservoir

Check

Check fluid level in expansion reservoir and correct if necessary

Screw cap (1) onto expansion reservoir

Check proper function of clutch operator

Check bleed screw (3) for leaks, then put on protective cap (2).

Install

Close the hatch in the footwell
