2 | Inspect radiator (1) for external soiling | The fins must not be clogged with dirt. If required, clean the radiator (1) against a separate computation. | |

3 | Remove radiator (1) | Only perform if radiator (1) to be cleaned. | |
| Remove/install radiator | Engine 612 | |
| Remove/install radiator | Engine 642 | |
4.1 | Remove any minor contamination in the radiator (1) using compressed air or by spraying with water | Guide water jet at an adequate distance to the lamella otherwise the radiator (1) will be damaged. | |
4.2 | Spray out severe contamination of the radiator (1) using high pressure cleaner | Guide high-pressure jet at an adequate distance to the lamella otherwise the radiator (1) will be damaged. | |
