Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.

Remove drain plug (3) and drain crankcase oil

 Only drain lubricant oil when engine is heated at working temperature.

 Condition and allocate the used oil according to the environmental law.

Install the drain plug (3)

 Replace the draining plug sealing ring (3).

Replace the engine oil filter element

Fill crankcase through the filler neck (2) until the maximum oil level is reached on dipstick (1)

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Run the engine at idle speed observing the oil pressure indicator


Do not accelerate the engine until oil pressure is shown on the indicator.
Otherwise, the pressure must be reestablished in approximately 10 seconds.


Do not crank the engine continuously for more than 30 seconds.
If the engine does not fire within this interval, wait approximately 1 minute and crank it again.

 Test the oil filter and the crankcase oil drain plug sealing.

Stop the engine

Control lubricating oil level after 5 minutes

 If necessary, reestablish the level, use oil of the same brand and type already existent, until reaching the maximum level.

 The oil level should be checked with the vehicle parked on level ground.

 The oil level can never surpass the max level reference on the dipstick (1).
