Clean the area around the drain screw (6)

Remove the drain screw (6) and drain the oil pan

 Only drain the engine oil with heated engine at the work temperature.

 Dispose of the used oil according to the environmental law.

Install the drain screw (6)

 Replace the drain screw sealing ring.

 Warning

Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure it with the safety strut.

Fill the engine with the prescribed lubricating oil

 Fill up the engine via filler neck (2).

Run the engine at idle speed observing the oil pressure indicator

 Do not accelerate the engine until oil pressure is shown on the indicator. The pressure must be reestablished in approximately 10 seconds.

 Do not start the vehicle continuously more than 10 seconds. If the engine does not start during this interval, wait approximately 30 seconds, and start it again.

 Check the oil filter leak tightness and the oil drain screw of the oil pan.

Check the oil level via oil dipstick

 The oil level can never surpass the max level reference on the oil dipstick (1).

 Should it be necessary to re-establish the oil level, utilize oil of the same brand and type already used in the crankcase, until reaching the maximum level.

 The oil level should be checked with the vehicle parked on level ground.
