Check

Remove the lock of the spherical terminal (2) and disengage the rod of the pneumatic cylinder (1) drive of the motor brake

 Apply resistant grease at high temperatures.

Test flap shaft movement smoothness

Examine air cylinder (1), joint part and flap shaft for wear

Check the firm attachment of the lever to the grooved end of the throttle

Adjust the pre-tensioning (D) of the pneumatic cylinder mounting

 This measurement will be correctly adjusted when air cylinder rod is pulled according to correspondent measurement.

 The pre-tensioning eliminates the vibrations caused by the throttle valve, thus avoiding the premature wear of the motor brake assembly.
