Notes on DTC memory
After calling the menu point "DTC memory", the numbers for the DTCs stored in the control module appear together with the associated texts.
Current faults are displayed with a black background on the HTT.
Stored faults are displayed without black background on the HTT.
Procedure for current faults
Proceed as described in the Test program for the electrical system.
Procedure for stored faults:
Erase DTC memory. Activate and deactivate system. Read out DTC memory again.
If the fault is stored again, proceed as described in the test program for the electrical system.
Stored DTCs can be read out with the HHT connected to the data link connector with ignition "ON":
