906 589 02 63 00 Extraction tool
The heat protective sleeve extraction tool 906 589 02 63 00 is being supplied with an extension 906 589 02 63 01 so that it can be used when rocker arms have been installed.
The extension can be ordered separately from GLC-Germersheim and be fitted to the heat protective sleeve extraction tool supplied to date.
950 589 01 33 00 Pressing tool
The pressing tool 950 589 01 33 00 has been modified to fit the new rubber bushings, part no. 000 323 81 85, on the rear axle stabilizers.
The sleeve's inside diameter has been changed to 80.5 mm and the M25 bolt (in the thrust piece) has been shortened.
GLC Germersheim has been supplying these modified special tools since 06/01.
The new sleeve and M24 bolt can be ordered from GLC-Germersheim under part no. 950 589 01 33 01 to retrofit to the special tools supplied up to now.
Tighten the new M24 bolt so that the exterior diameter of the thrust piece is not smaller than the diameter of the sleeve
(80.5 mm).
