Modification notes
Due to recent events we would like to notify you that in the event of a crack on the retarder housing, it is no longer necessary to replace the complete retarder, but rather only the retarder housing.
With immediate effect the retarder housing repair kit can be ordered though GLC.
The repair instructions for replacing the retarder housing have been incorporated into the WIS.
Warranty and goodwill:
If, while searching for an oil leak or a water leak on the retarder, a crack is then found on the retarder housing, the retarder housing has to be replaced according to the repair instructions.
Please note that replacement of the complete retarder is no longer permitted.
