The parameterization of the maximum speed limit has been conducted up till now solely using a chip card.

As of Star Diagnosis release 08/2008 the parameterization process will be extended by an online process.

The requirements for conducting online process are:

Networked Star Diagnosis device

Xentry flash authorization of user

The new work procedure is described in the document

The online process is recommended for parameterization of the maximum speed limit.

When conducting parameterization, the laws of each country concerned must be observed.

In Germany, the maximum speed specified in the German Vehicle Licensing Regulations (StVZO) must be adhered to.
