Transmission does not shift up, engine reaches regulating speed | Models 140.04/05 |

Cause/remedy:
1. B"-switch in shift gate sticks at times.
2. Kickdown solenoid valve cable and TWC heating valve transposed. A modified "B"-switch with additional fixing clip has been installed since 04/92 (see illustration: shaded area).
Fixing clip must be filed off when a "B"-switch with fixing clip is installed in a shift block without groove.
