07.1-237 Removing and installing thermostat for fuel preheating (model 202)
Preceding work: Removing, installing intake manifold (14-180). | Job no. of Job Texts and Work Units or Standard Texts and Flat Rates: |
Ground cable at battery | disconnect, connect. |
Coolant | collect, pour in. |
Glow plug of cylinder 3 | remove, install (15-715). |
Coolant hose (87) | pull off, push on. To do this, slacken clip (87/1), tighten. |
Fuel feed hose (88) | pull off, push on. To do this, slacken clip (88/1), tighten. |
Fuel line (89) | pull off, fit on. To do this, release quick lock, secure. Replace O-ring according to condition. |
Injection pump bolt (13a) | unscrew, screw in. |
Bolts (86/1) of bracket (3 ea.) | unscrew, screw in. |
Hollow bolt (86/2) | unscrew, screw in. |
Thermostat (86) | unscrew, screw in. |
Hollow bolt (86/2) at thermostat (86) | press off, press on. Replace O-ring according to condition. |
Leak tightness of all connection points | check with engine running. Note The fuel system is bled automatically when starting engine. |
